For more than 125 years Bauermeister is specialised in the process engineering and currently employs 25 people in Norderstedt.

In the early years the manufacturing emphasis referred to the cocoa and chocolate industry and nowadays priority is given to the food industry markets and the particle size reducing processes required by them.

Bauermeister machines are found throughout the food industry in great numbers for grinding sugar, as well as spices, lactose, and starch, to name just a few of the many applications. Another industry where Bauermeister machines are used in great number is the oil seed industry for precrushing and flaking. And, last but not least, Bauermeister machinery is used increasingly in the chemical and mineral industries.
