Draughtsman
The apprenticeship consists of the following elements:
- Basic training in technical drawing
- Company organisation and communication
- Raw materials and supplies – Knowledge and appraisal
- Production of work pieces and mounting of components
- Basic training in electrical engineering
- Execution of technical calculations
- Reading and applying technical documents
- Computer-aided design (CAD)
- Production of technical drawings, plans and documents
- Appraisal of production and assembly in terms of process compatibility
- Drawing up outlines, foreshortened drawings, diagrammatic plans
- Contributing to tasks of other departments
Duration of apprenticeship: | PROBAT 3 years |
Vocational school: | two days a week at Oberhausen Vocational College |
Intermediate exam: | after about 1.5 years in theory and practice |
Final exam: | after 3 years consisting of theory, practice and work samples |
Prerequisite: | at least specialised high school maturity |
Deadline for application: | end of october of previous year |
Beginning of apprenticeship: | every year in August/September |
