Living History
In its 140 years of company history PROBAT has accompanied and contributed to shaping the cultivation of coffee. Our „Museum of Coffee Technology“ at our headquarters in Emmerich am Rhein testifies to this commitment.
Historical roasting machines manufactured by PROBAT and others show the development of roasting technology and are tangible examples for the continual optimisation of coffee refinement. Some of the exhibits, for example the Emmerich quick roaster patented in 1884, are real milestones.
