In the new showroom PROBAT experts have fitted an exemplary shop roastery with a cafe. There, the company presents four pieces of equipment from the PROBATINO and PROBATONE series as well as green coffee storage bins, display bins, grinders and quality control instruments.
PROBAT shows all the features the new shop roaster generation and its auxiliary equipment have to offer. The showroom is a special service for customers. They get to know the shop roasters in an environment that is true to the original shop roastery and can see for themselves what the new roasters look like and how they operate. This provides the basis for a more intensive counselling and creates greater customer intimacy. “The new showroom makes the purchasing of a shop roaster including auxiliary equipment a special occasion. Our customers can experience the productive efficiency of the new shop roaster generation in a hands-on way. Moreover, we have radically extended our training capacities and now offer an even greater variety of courses”, says Daniel Schmidt, Head of Shop Roaster Sales.

On May 9th, 2008 Managing Director Stephan Lange presented a speech on the occasion of the opening of the new showroom. Daniel Schmidt symbolically handed out a sampler to the Training Centre which was represented by its Head Inga Schäper and Dieter Hollenders, who then undertook a roasting on a shop roaster. In the aftermath, the “Probat Baristi” provided all attendees with coffee specialties in the cafe area.
