PROBAT operates a research and development section that is unique in this competitive field. Innovative solutions for coffee, cocoa, malt, grain types, nuts, oil seeds and many other foodstuffs are developed there. To maintain and further improve a high standard the R & D team undertakes research on every facet of the production of these roasting products. There is no other way to live up to expectations of the respective product.

The research and development department is divided into two areas:pilot engineering and lab.
