New roll mill UW 300.3
Based on the decade-long experience in the construction of three-stage roll mills, the newly developed UW 300.3 sets new standards with view to flexibility and influenceability of the grinding result.
First and foremost it is the new drive concept which renders possible an even more flexible adaptation of the roll mill to the requested grinding result. The standard equipment is one motor per grinding stage. The UW 300.3 is however also available with individual drives per grinding roll. The adaptation of the relative roll speeds resulting from this opens up new influencing parameters on grain spectrum and grinding result.
The remaining coffee chaff is reliably crushed in the turbo mixer and homogenously intermixed. By means of the downstream densifier (adjustable via a weight-loaded flap) the bulk/stamped density of the ground coffee is increased. An optional second outlet furthermore renders possible the conveyance of undensified coffee.
Product-specific guiding plates, very smooth surfaces as well as pneumatically operated slide gates reliably avoid the formation of deposits in the interior of the roll mill. In the turbo mixer/densifier the distances of the jacket to mixer shaft and conveying screw are reduced so far that only minimal product rests remain. Well accessible cleaning openings to the grinding mechanisms and the turbo mixer/densifier render possible a simple and quick cleaning of the roll mill and therefore increase the availability.
