FRD/M and METEOR Roasting Machines

The FRD/M and METEOR roasting machines are appropriate for the roasting of cereals like barley, malt, green malt and maize, due to their special functions.Moreover, other products like sunflower seeds and chicory can be perfectly refined. The approx. 100 units manufactured so far are mainly used in companies of the malt and foodstuff industry that have specialised in the production of special malt and the roasting of different ingredients up to coffee substitute.

The heating and roasting procedures that are necessary depending on the product can be reliably effected by simple operation.For this purpose, the recipe memory provides for reproducible results.

The METEOR series covers the range of 300–3,500 kg/batch depending on the raw product. The FRD/M roaster is in the upper capacity range with a batch size of up to 5.5 t.
