FRC 280/460/960 – Continuously Excellent Results

Continuous roasting processes are particularly suitable for roasting plants that roast the same products over extended production periods and want to be flexible at the same time.

The principle of the FRC series is based on a horizontal roasting cylinder provided with spiral worms for product transport. Arranged above the product bed is a distributor duct, via which the hot air is injected into the individual chambers by means of hundreds of nozzles. Owing to the slow rotation of the roasting cylinder and directed hot air flow with fluidising effect, extremely gentle product movement and, in turn, particularly uniform roasting takes place.

For long stability, e.g. of hazel nuts, the hot air supply system has two temperature zones; the residence time here is about 25 minutes.
