FRC 280/460/960 – Continuously Excellent Results

Continuous roasting processes are particularly suitable for roasting plants that roast the same products over extended production periods and want to be flexible at the same time. The principle of the FRC series is based on a horizontal roasting cylinder provided with spiral worms for product transport. Arranged above the product bed is a distributor duct, via which the hot air is injected into the individual chambers by means of hundreds of nozzles. Owing to the slow rotation of the roasting cylinder and directed hot air flow with fluidising effect, extremely gentle product movement and, in turn, particularly uniform roasting takes place. For long stability, e.g. of hazel nuts, the hot air supply system has two temperature zones; the residence time here is about 25 minutes.

FCN60/120/300/500 – Specialist and All-Rounder In One

The special roasting chamber geometry of the FCN series allows particularly gentle product treatment due to the omission of an intermixing blade system. The spherical design of the roasting chamber ensures perfect heat transfer and ideal product movement. On completion of the roasting phase, the roasting chamber is rotated through about 90°, so that even candied products are discharged into the following cooler without problem. The FCN series is available for batch sizes up to about 500 kg. Available for the larger variants is an optionally energy-saving heat recirculation system, which increases the efficiency of the system.
