The Status Survey:

The status survey is a technically detailed examination of the machine or plant. It can be divided into two sections:

• Appraisal of the machine or plant in non-productive, cold operation (approx. 1 day)
• Appraisal of the machine or plant in productive, warm operation (approx. 1 day)

In the non-productive operation machine components like e.g. parts in contact with the product (roasting vessel, -drum, -bowl), locks, combustion chamber insulation or thermocouples are checked. The bearings on the complete machine, the pressure conditions as well as the water quenching system however are checked in the supplementary second part of the status survey, under production conditions. The whole system is also checked with regard to leakages.

An expert’s report finally summarizes the results from the status survey. Apart from a detailed report on the machine or plant status some comprehensive photo documentation is provided. Contact
