Jeden Tag rede ich mit Menschen über ein ganz emotionales Thema: Kaffee und wie er am besten schmeckt. Ich lasse mir gern erklären warum in Vietnam mal Butter dazu gehört und in Indien Chicorée Wurzeln. Partnerschaftlich finden wir dann eine Lösung, wie man den Kaffee herstellen kann. Wenn ich dann im Supermarkt oder im Coffee Shop den Kaffee wiederfinde, bin ich stolz, dass ich dazu beigetragen habe.

The PROBAT administration building is home to both the company management and all other central organs of the Probat Group. Around 350 people work in areas such as commercial administration, planning & engineering, technical product management, product technology, marketing, sales, project management, service & aftersales, and purchasing.

Museum of Coffee Technology

The Museum of Coffee Technology is a museum of specialities, with almost a thousand items that thrill, surprise and inspire. Spread out over almost 6,500 square feet, the museum gives visitors an insight into the development of coffee roasting technology over the decades, along with information about the history of the family company PROBAT.

Speciality coffee showroom

Not only do we apply our decades of roasting experience in machine construction, we also convey it to customers in our training sessions. In the showroom, groups of up to eight people receive intensive training in theoretical and practical seminars. Here, our students can learn, roast, test and taste. The training sessions use different PROBATONE roasters depending on the content.

The PROBAT restaurant offers a wide range of fresh, delicious and balanced meals. Employees can choose from three freshly prepared dishes that change every day. From healthy and vegetarian options to traditional hearty meals, there is something for everyone. When the sun comes out, staff can enjoy their break on our large outdoor terrace with a wonderful view of the park.

Research and development centre

Technical testing is the first step towards using process machinery in a successful and cost-effective way. That is why we have our own research and development centre. It covers the entire process chain from green coffee to grinding. It also contains advanced laboratory and conference facilities that help develop new products, as well as the roasting and grinding technology needed to produce them. Custom production.

Our production halls manufacture all of our products with the utmost precision, from shop roasters to full coffee processing lines. Our specialists apply our decades of expertise to both series production and custom manufacturing of machines and systems for individual customer needs.
