Museum of
Coffee Technology

At the Museum of Coffee Technology, we take you on an exciting journey through our history and the history of coffee. This is a museum of specialities, with almost a thousand items that thrill, surprise and inspire. A tour of our 150 years of company history shows how everything began, and illustrates how PROBAT became the world market leader and technology pioneer in machinery and systems for the coffee industry. Across almost 6,500 square feet, our museum holds a wide-ranging collection of objects that were vital for coffee processing.

Wake up and smell the coffee

Visitors can take a tour of the museum, during which they will gain insights into the history of coffee, from farming to preparation. They can find out incredible details about the coffee roasting process and the required machinery. These roasters that turn green coffee into one of the most popular beverages in the world can be seen in all their variety in the museum.

This process, largely hidden from most coffee drinkers, is closely linked to the history of PROBAT. Take a look behind the scenes of 150 years of history on a guided museum tour. There are plenty of surprises in store. And of course a good cup of coffee.
