The PROAIR injector is an energy-saving, high-performance solution for the reduction of odors from the cooling exhaust air, specifically catered to the requirements of the coffee industry. It requires only little energy, is particularly space-saving and can easily be integrated into the process. With indoor and outdoor installation possible, PROAIR is able to treat airflows of up to 220,000 cubic meters per hour. With three different sizes, it is the perfect solution for roasteries with medium to large production capacities.

PROAIR works without the use of energy-intensive catalytic or thermal oxidation technologies, based solely on a non-thermal plasma process. The non-thermal plasma modules transform clean air into active oxygen, which is then injected into the process airflow for the oxidation of odorous components. To this end, ambient air is forced through a three-stage filter for purification and a heater for moisture control, before it is passed through a series of cold plasma modules. Induced into the exhaust air duct, the active oxygen oxidizes the odor-intensive components of the exhaust air, reducing odor pollution by up to 91%.
