The Bauermeister CL Air Classifier is an ideal solution for applications that require a defined upper particle size before entering post-processing. Typically paired with the GM Gap Mill or UM Universal Mill in dry grinding systems, the CL effectively separates coarse particles from the mix and returns them to the mill for regrinding. Beyond size limitation, it also offers functionality for fiber enrichment or protein shifting, making it a versatile tool in precision dry processing.
A high-speed classifying rotor separates particles by size and settling velocity, effectively controlling the upper particle size for ultra-fine products. As material flows through the system, process air transports fine particles onward, while coarser particles and agglomerates are deflected outward or rejected. Oversized material is recirculated back to the mill for further grinding, ensuring consistent product fineness.
