The Heidenauer FRF Fine Refiner is a fully automatic five-roll refiner engineered for chocolate manufacturers seeking a traditional yet high-performance refining solution. Its precisely tempered rolls ensure a uniform particle size distribution at the desired fineness, delivering optimized throughput for chocolate mass, compound coatings, and creams.
During the refining process, the viscous product passes through counter-rotating rolls, beginning with the lower feed roll. Each subsequent roll operates at a higher speed, progressively reducing particle size with every pass. Continuous operation is maintained through the Stripe Detection Cockpit and automated fineness control, which together ensure consistent product quality, high throughput, and operational safety.
The FRF 'Super' version features enlarged top rolls, significantly increasing capacity while reducing energy consumption by up to 30%, all within a compact machine footprint. This model offers maximum flexibility for processing a wide variety of products, making it an ideal solution for modern chocolate production environments.
