PROBAT roll grinders are high-performance grinding solutions designed for both standard and specialty applications. Engineered for flexibility and reliability, they deliver consistently high-quality results while ensuring exceptional process stability.

Depending on the desired grind size, PROBAT roll grinders are equipped with two or three pairs of counter-rotating rollers per passage. These precision-engineered rolls, featuring specialized corrugation, progressively grind coffee from coarse to micro-fine, achieving throughputs of up to 4,000 kg per hour. An integrated secondary densifier ensures compaction rates of over 30%, optimizing downstream efficiency.

The UW 300 special grinders take it a step further with frequency-controlled motors on each grinding unit that allow for the independent adjustment of roll speeds. This enables precise control over the particle size spectrum. This advanced system not only makes ultra-fine grinding possible, but also highly reproducible. Additionally, automatic grinding gap adjustment ensures maximum consistency across every batch.
