PROBAT UW roll grinders are high‑performance grinding solutions engineered for specialized applications. Designed for maximum flexibility and reliability, they deliver consistently high‑quality results while ensuring exceptional process stability.

Depending on the required grind size, UW roll grinders can be equipped with two or three pairs of rolls, with each passage using two counter‑rotating grinding rolls. These precision‑engineered rolls, featuring specialized corrugation profiles, progressively grind coffee from coarse to micro‑fine, achieving throughputs of up to 4,000 kg per hour. An integrated secondary densifier provides compaction rates above 30%, enhancing downstream process efficiency.

Each grinding unit is driven by frequency‑controlled motors, allowing roll speeds to be adjusted independently. This enables highly precise control over the particle size spectrum. The advanced system not only supports ultra‑fine grinding but also ensures exceptional reproducibility. Additionally, automated grinding‑gap adjustment secures maximum consistency in every batch.
