PROBAT UW roll grinders are high‑performance grinding solutions engineered for specialized applications. Designed for maximum flexibility and reliability, they deliver consistently high‑quality results while ensuring exceptional process stability.

Depending on the required grind size, UW roll grinders can be equipped with two or three pairs of rolls, with each passage using two counter‑rotating grinding rolls. These precision‑engineered rolls, featuring specialized corrugation profiles, progressively grind coffee from coarse to micro‑fine, achieving throughputs of up to 4,000 kg per hour. An integrated secondary densifier provides compaction rates above 30%, enhancing downstream process efficiency.

The UW 300 special grinders take it a step further with frequency-controlled motors on each grinding unit that allow for the independent adjustment of the roll speed. This enables precise control over the particle size spectrum. This advanced system not only makes ultra-fine grinding possible, but also highly reproducible. Additionally, automatic grinding gap adjustment ensures maximum consistency across every batch.
