The Stripe Detection Cockpit is an advanced optical monitoring and control system designed to ensure optimal roller coverage and early stripe detection in the Heidenauer FRF Fine Refiner during chocolate processing. It enhances operational safety, maximizes throughput, and reduces maintenance needs through continuous, real-time monitoring and AI-driven optimization.
By digitally recognizing stripe formation and visualizing roller conditions in the control room, the system automatically adjusts differential speed, roll temperature, and pressure between the rolls. It also supports automated knife exchange and AI-driven machine parametrization for simplified operation.
