At MacIntyre's Technology Center in Arbroath, Scotland, the focus is on the development and adaptation of compound and chocolate recipes. A wide variety of product ideas can be implemented on a laboratory scale with the 45 kg MacIntyre Refiner/Conche - from classic milk and dark chocolates to vegan, sugar-free or high-protein variants. Close cooperation with our R&D specialists enables fast, well-founded developments and a high degree of flexibility in the process.

Fat-Based Grinding – Flexible Use Beyond Chocolate

The MacIntyre Refiner/Conche is not limited to traditional chocolate processing. Its design also makes it suitable for fat-based grinding applications beyond standard recipes. This includes the refining of fat-rich mixtures such as nut pastes, spreads, and specialty compounds. The system ensures homogeneous particle size distribution, consistent texture, and reliable processing – even with challenging ingredients.
