The Technology Center in Dresden is specifically designed to realistically model and further develop industrial processes in chocolate production. At its heart is a semi-automatic production line that enables the entire bean-to-chocolate process to be carried out in a continuous sequence. This infrastructure offers optimal conditions for scale-up trials, process optimization and practical training. The fully equipped application system realistically reproduces the entire chocolate production process and allows for reliable evaluations in terms of process stability, energy efficiency and the integration of new technologies.

Our focus in Dresden is on industrial chocolate production. With a continuous process line and flexible equipment, we enable end-to-end product and process trials – from raw material handling to refining and forming. This makes the location ideal for scale-up validations, texture and viscosity adjustments, and the development of tailored chocolate formulations for various markets and applications.

Cocoa processing
In addition to chocolate applications, cocoa processing capabilities are also available at the Dresden site. Specific steps in the cocoa processing chain – such as bean cleaning, roasting and liquor handling – can be tested and optimized on site. Whether for flavor development, roasting trials or the integration of cocoa intermediates into chocolate production, our experts support you in transferring ideas into scalable, industrial-ready processes.
