Your tasks

  • Responsibility for machine-related software (TIA and, if possible, Allen Bradley)
  • Electrotechnical layout of machines and plants for the cocoa and chocolate production
  • Further development of control concepts to guarantee a safe, efficient and procedurally optimised operation of our plants
  • Networking of plant/machine portfolio in superimposed line control system up to the integration of customer ERP systems
  • Cooperation with our suppliers to optimise our sources of supply as well as preparation of electrotechnical parts lists
  • Presentation of our control solutions and automation competence to customers in an international environment

Your profile:

  • Completed technical training in the field of electronics or similar
  • Relevant professional experience concerning automation technology and hardware layout in special machine construction as well as practical experience in project work/management
  • Profound knowledge concerning PLC programming (S7/TIA portal as well as ideally Allen Bradley/Rockwell or further PLC programming languages)
  • Routine handling of CAD and CAE systems, ideally EPLAN P8
  • Experience concerning the preparation of circuit diagrams, cable plans, terminal diagrams, switchgear cabinets superstructures, parts list, etc.
  • Comprehensive knowledge concerning line control, visualisation (preferably WinCC) and data bank or ERP integration
  • Very good English; other foreign languages are welcome
  • Analytical understanding, communication skills during customer contacts as well as team spirit and independent way of working
  • Willing to do international business trips lasting several days
