Welcome to PROBAT: 20 young professionals begin their careers across the globe
Emmerich, Germany, September 3, 2026: At the beginning of September, the PROBAT Group welcomed 20 new trainees worldwide. Starting their careers at locations in Germany, the Netherlands, Brazil, and Scotland, they are embarking on an exciting new chapter and laying the foundation for their professional future. Over the coming years, they will gain comprehensive knowledge in technical, commercial, and IT-related disciplines, developing into the skilled professionals of tomorrow.
Training at PROBAT goes far beyond the transfer of technical expertise. The company's goal is to integrate young talent into business operations at an early stage, entrust them with responsibility, and prepare them both professionally and personally for their future careers. To achieve this, PROBAT combines theory and practice from day one. Trainees actively contribute to real projects, gain valuable insights into the complex operations of a globally leading manufacturer of machinery and processing solutions for the food industry, and immediately apply their knowledge in day-to-day business. This hands-on approach enables them to steadily develop into qualified professionals with a deep understanding of the requirements of an internationally connected organization.
"Training young people is an investment in PROBAT's future," says Wim Abbing, CEO PROBAT. “Our trainees bring fresh perspectives, new ideas, and a high level of commitment to the company. That is why it is important for us to provide an environment from the very beginning in which they can take on responsibility, further develop their strengths, and gain valuable practical experience. This commitment is shared across all PROBAT Group locations worldwide.”
To mark the start of their training, various onboarding and networking activities were organized at PROBAT's international locations. These activities gave the new trainees the opportunity to get to know the company, its different areas of operation, and their future colleagues, while gaining their first insights into everyday working life at PROBAT.
With this year's new trainees, PROBAT once again underscores its long-term commitment to developing young talent. The company's aim is to cultivate qualified professionals from within its own ranks and offer them attractive career opportunities within an internationally operating organization.
Prospective applicants can find information about the various apprenticeship and training programs on the company's website. In addition to currently available trainee positions, further career opportunities worldwide are also listed: www.probat.com/careers
