DIVERSITY AT PROBAT

"At PROBAT, we believe that all people have the right to be who they are. That's why we're committed to Diversity."

We are supporting this important movement with the sale of an immediately available P05 roaster! The hood and badge were designed and hand-painted by the Department of Brewology with an exclusive Pride design.

Since the WOC was originally planned to be in Warsaw, 100% of
the purchase price will be donated by PROBAT to the Polish
organizations Lambda Warszawa, Tolerado, and Teczowka.

WHAT DOES DIVERSITY MEAN AT PROBAT?

At PROBAT, Diversity means a commitment to recognizing Diversity as a social and economic good. Diversity is an elementary component of the corporate culture we live by.

We as a company are convinced that where Diversity is not only accepted, but actively promoted and strengthened, completely new paths can be taken.

First and foremost, it is important to emphasize the commonality of differences and strengthen this sense of togetherness and unite it under the goal of "PROWE".

HOW DO WE PUT THIS INTO PRACTICE?

With a clear commitment by the management and the founding of a Diversity committee, PROBAT is pursuing the goal of anchoring the topic sustainably in the mindset of the employees - both in their work and private lives.

Awareness of the many benefits of Diversity is raised through various campaigns, numerous articles on the intranet, food for thought and discussions, and corresponding training courses. In addition, existing processes are continuously examined, analyzed, and, if necessary, adjusted if they are an obstacle to a diverse corporate culture or leadership.

To officially affirm this goal, PROBAT is part of the largest German Diversity network: die Charter der Vielfalt (Diversity Charter).

DIVERSITY DAY 2022

As part of this year's Diversity Day, numerous activities are taking place at PROBAT to continuously raise employee awareness of the topic. In addition to an online Diversity quiz, the week of action will include Diversity lunches with exciting discussions and food for thought on the topic.

#WirzeigenFlagge will also be put into action this year both on our flagpole and on our social media channels, with our logo in Pride colors.

In addition, a diverse garden bed is being created in the PROBAT park, and every employee is invited to participate.

SHOWING ATTITUDE - WHAT CAN EACH INDIVIDUAL DO?

  • Inform, listen, stay curious:  An important first step for more Diversity and inclusion. Whether through information sources on the Internet, people from the LGBT+ community, or local networks and initiatives - respectful exchange helps to learn about and understand other perspectives.

  • Show initiative:  Have you read or heard a discriminatory statement? Don't turn a blind eye and actively address it. Stand up for people who are experiencing disadvantage and take a clear and consistent stand against hate and discrimination. This step may take some effort - involve others to take a stand together.

  • Get active:  Every engagement can help, and every contribution can be valuable - support local initiatives, sign petitions or demonstrate for more Diversity and equal rights for all. You can also make a valuable contribution in the form of donations. Let's accelerate together the positive developments of the last years, there is still a lot to do, let's get active together.
